Ordinary just met Extra.
There are people on the moon, they are from the future, and they are running our government.
I began working in the radio & television industry at the age of 17. From childhood I loved the craft of storytelling, and began pursuing a career as a filmmaker in high school; writing and producing short video projects as often as possible. My pursuit of this goal continued immediately after graduating when I was hired by a production company in Lafayette, Louisiana, as a sound engineer for studio sessions, recording and mixing albums for artists ranging anywhere from country to rap. Through this experience I moved into sound production for television and commercial projects, trying to learn every facet of the technical end of the business along the way. Eventually I moved up into full time producing for KATC-TV3 (ABC), writing and creating television commercials for local advertisers.
By 24 I was given my own creative services team at the KLFY-TV10 (CBS), where I spent several years writing and producing hundreds of various television campaigns for advertisers all over the State, and beyond. During the course of these years I continued to pursue my creative passions in every way possible, producing two short films ("A Date With Destiny" in 2001, & "Meeting Andrew" in 2004) and co-hosting a radio show called "Liquid Lounge" for new and upcoming artists. Writing remained an important part of everyday life, and after several years I finally completed a four-part mini-series teleplay entitled “The Genesis Project”. This would ultimately lead to the inspiration for the script “Lunopolis”, a mock-documentary film designed to provide simple explanations for history’s most famous and infamous conspiracies, while offering a positive message about human life and the importance of thinking for ourselves.
Besides film-making, my second (or maybe first) greatest love is the earth, taking every opportunity to experience nature through biking, canoeing, hiking, camping, kayaking, swimming and running whenever possible. My dream is to one day settle on a beautiful piece of countryside with my wife and family, and continue to write, direct, and produce meaningful passion projects for the remainder of my life.
