Augusto González Polo born in June 12, 1979, in Ciudad de Corrientes (Cap), Argentina. Lived until finished his high-school studies in Aristóbulo Del Valle, a small town in the province of Misiones; and then translate to Buenos Aires, when he got a degree as Sound and Image Designer at the Buenos Aires University.
Besides his work in technical areas in TV industry, and his independent filmmaker career, he also directed video-clips and writes artistic rehearsals for independent publications.
“Capital (todo el mundo va a Buenos Aires)” is his first long feature film; realized absolutely independent, without any external support from a production company, or government department. In march 2007, with an unfinished copy, the movie was presented in Toulouse Festival winning the French’s Critics Syndicate “Discovery” Award, as “Best First Film”.
These days he’s working in the project of his second movie, called “Chicas” (“Girls”).
