International Medium-Length Film Festival
19th-28th November 2010. Fiction Films from 30 to 60 minutes exclusively.
La Cabina is an International Medium-Length Film Festival intended to be a forum to showcase the latest cinema trends in an innovative length format in a festival setting. The only condition is that films must be 30 to 60 minutes in length; there are no restrictions regarding age or country.
The Festival wants all participants to learn from each other in an international forum with different ways of thinking, creating and understanding the fact of making cinema.
A Medium-Length Film has a duration of between 30 and 60 minutes. The worldwide production of this specific film format is considerably high in both quantity and quality. However, being half-way between a full length feature and short-length film, it is not usually represented in film festivals.
The Festival boosts the profile of this format which - as we have already proved to date - enjoys high quality production comparable to the official section of any other prestigious festival.
La Cabina festival is highlighting Valencia (Spain) to become the international reference point for medium-length films, an innovative film format that is steadily rising throughout the world.
