german born filmmaker Jana Debus has been making films since 2003. She has been working in London for 6 years as a freelance assistant to photographers Elfie Semotan, Julian Broad, Mischa Richter, Kayt Jones among others. Her work has been shown in festivals and exhibitions across Germany, as well as England, the Netherlands, Spain and Croatia and has won two prizes in 2009: the GRAND PRIX at Zagrebs 25 FPS in Croatia, and the 1st prize BILD-KUNST Förderpreis Kunstfilmbiennale, Cologne.
