In 1955, young Ingrid applies for a job at Machado de Assis Bookstore and meets Silvia, a very beautiful woman who is in town for a while. Their first intellectual affection becomes emotional. It´s a story about the love for books, literature and the will to go beyond what's superficial and the challenge of facing the unconventional. A meeting between two women, carefully aesthetic influenced by Edward Hopper and Tamara de Lempicka paintings.(more)
