Lucy the cat seemed immortal. When she disappeared one rainy night it seemed impossible that she had gone forever.

Ciao Meow is a photo essay that tells the story of a very old cat with no ears and a mean disposition, who reigned supreme as part of her queer family. Lucy lived to the fine old age of 21yrs and 6months, a record according to the vet. This charming and at times challenging short film documents the humans and other animals that peppered Lucy the earless cat’s life.(more)
