Synopsis:

Alan, a portrait photographer is shaken from his still life when an old girl friend, Jenny, reappears by chance with her husband Frank and her 7 year old son, Danny. It soon becomes clear to Alan that Danny is his son. After a very difficult discussion with Jenny, at which neither Frank nor Danny are present, he takes some pictures of the whole family and then he spends a few minutes alone with Danny. His conversations with Danny and later with Jenny help him to begin to confront his loneliness and his guilt.
