    • Country of origin: United States
  • Genre:
    Science Fiction - Fantasy
  • Synopsis:

"A Feast of Souls" is a mysterious journey through hell, history and the rural American south. Three adult friends embark in what appears to be a harmless revisiting of their childhood playground. Suspicion and paranoia lead to murder and the transportation into the world of the damned, where they discover that life may be temporary, but vengeance is eternal.
"A Feast of Souls" spans history, using slavery, the Civil War and modern characters in its reflection and condemnation of humankind. It utilizes atmospheric rural locations, stunning visual and sound effects and compelling, twisted storytelling to draw its audience along with its protagonist ever deeper into the haunted world of its creation. Solidly acted throughout, it features a chilling universally lauded performance by Ra Sylver as the nameless slave women who directs and manipulates the action, disclosing her intentions slowly, in hints and riddles. It was written and directed by josh Smith and features a haunting, atmospheric score by Andy Staley.
