Festival Description:

CINEWEST CINEMATHEQUE is led by a global screen culture initiative entitled flEXiff 2002-2022. This project encourages filmmakers to utilize flEXiff as a platform to showcase works that do not fit into any film festival formats since the works can vary in genres, lengths and/or date of productions. This initiative's life span is 20 years in order to represent and archive works submitted to flEXiff during 2002-2022. Since the first edition in 2003, flEXiff has received over 300 works from around the world and showcased over 150 works so far in various venues in the Western Sydney region and beyond.
