  • Festival Description:

    dokumentART is geared for younger filmmakers who dare to approach current issues and/or controversial topics with edgy experimental and art-house documentary films.  A filmmaker is eligible to submit his or her film it it is amongst their first five films completed (including a graduation film).

    There are competitive sections with Jury Awards totaling up to 10,000 Euros.  This is primarily a regional event showcasing German talent although the festival does run a special sidebar which focuses on productions from Eastern Europe.
