Festival Description:

The Tokyo International Lesbian & Gay Film Festival invites submissions of films and videos to be considered for screening in Tokyo, Japan. The TIL&GFF is one of the largest and oldest film festivals of its kind in Asia and a fixture on the Tokyo cultural calendar. Held in July, the 18th TIL&GFF draws over 8,000 viewers to about 32 films and 18 programs.

Films and videos submitted can be of any length and should be of interest to the lesbian, gay, bisexual, and/or transgendered communities. Submissions should be provided on VHS (NTSC only) or DVD (in either NTSC (preferred) or PAL).

As a result of events in Japan and a possible electricity shortage the festival for 2011 has been postponed to October, 2011.
