Australia's only disability film festival continues to bring groundbreaking films from around the world to Melbourne audiences. The Other Film Festival supports and encourages excellence in filmmaking, accessible cinema and the passionate exchange of ideas.

The Other Film Festival screens new cinema by, with and about people with a disability at Melbourne Museum's Age Theatre in September. The festival will present a strong and diverse program of Australian and international films, including new works by filmmakers with a disability. The weekend will feature interviews, forums, and professional development opportunities for filmmakers. The Other Film Festival offers an unprecedented level of accessibility for patrons with a disability, including captioning, audio description, sign interpreting and other access services.

All selected films will be in competition for Best Film, with a cash
prize of $5,000 AUD.
