The 2008 Southwest Gay and Lesbian Film Festival, is celebrating its sixh year, and has grown into a week-long event presented in both Albuquerque and Santa Fe, New Mexico. The film festival will be held from September 26-October 2, 2008. The SWGLFF has become the fastest growing festival in the Southwest and calls New Mexico home. The State boasts an international reputation as a cultural and artistic Mecca and is home to one of the most diverse communities in the world. Filmmaker magazine in 2007 has named Albuquerque one of the "Top 10 U.S. Cities to Live, Work, and Make Movies," It has become a haven for filmmakers from around the globe, and we welcome you in being part of this growing community.
