Festival Description:

Shriekfest, the Los Angeles Horror/SciFi Film Festival, is a festival and screenplay competition dedicated to getting horror/thriller/scifi/fantasy filmmakers and screenwriters the recognition they deserve. Festival founder, Denise Gossett, is an actress and filmmaker who started Shriekfest after starring in the horror film "Chain of Souls". She can also be seen in the SciFi film "Decaying Orbit" and the horror films "La Llorona", "Carnies", "M", and "Fright Club." Gossett writes that "The whole point of Shriekfest is to help out filmmakers and screenwriters... What makes the festival unique is that it loves filmmakers and screenwriters!"
