    Puchon International Fantastic Film Festival (PiFan) programs a diverse slate of films of unique forms and styles that go beyond the realms of existing fantastic genre, in addition to choosing the latest domestic and international horror, thriller, mystery and fantasy films to satisfy dedicated fans of fantastic genre films. As the leading genre film festival in Asia, PiFan screens over 200 films from around the world.

    PiFan’s programming consists of 8 sections, including Puchon Choice, World Fantastic Cinema, Fantastic Short Films, Forbidden Zone, Family Fanta, Ani-Fanta, Special Programs and Retrospectives.

    In tandem with festival screenings, PiFan offers workshops taught by accomplished film professionals. (In 2007 "Special Effect Make-up in Asian Cinema," conducted by Cell, the Nishimura Motion Picture Model Makers Group and Michelle Wong, included and expert presentation and a practice workshop).

    Each year festival goers can enjoy "Mega Talks" (interviews with leading film professionals in the Asian and/or Fantastic genre) and concert events.

    Selected films will be taken on the PiFan Roadshow, screening throughout various towns in Gyeonggi Province.
