Initiated and supported by the Paris City Hall, chaired by actress Charlotte Rampling, the PARIS CINEMA International Film Festival, after four editions, has become a major film-related event of the early summer in Paris (more than 70,000 attendees in 2006). Paris Cinéma offers an ambitious line-up of films (300 films, presented by more than 200 French and foreign guests, talents and professionals) in 20different movie theatres or other screening venues in every quarter of Paris, with free access to some prestigious events, or a very affordable entry price.

Paris Cinéma offers a high-quality program reaching out to all audiences : children, cinema goers, English-speaking tourists, students, curious minds... and even hiking lovers!

Each year the Paris Cinema film festival has been an opportunity for the public to see the films that were shown at the famous and glamorous Cannes film festival. Anybody who is anybody goes to Cannes... And anybody at all can go to Paris Cinema!
