Festival Description:

Odense International Film Festival is a short film festival thats serves the citizens of Odense and film enthusiasts from all over Denmark with screenings of films from all over the world, films that otherwise would never reach the big screen. And all for free!

Both short films and documentaries are screened. Also screened are feature films in special programs outside the competition. The festival looks for creativity, imagination, personality and surprise in the films it selects for screening. No certain themes. There are special programs and an animation workshop for kids. A Youth Jury is selected about a half year before the festival and its members benefit from film education lectures. The Odense International Film Festival also offers seminars for instructors, school teachers and librarians.
