When the first Namur Amateur Nature Video Film Festival was created in Belgium in early autumn 1995, no-one had any idea that, 14th years later, this gathering of amateur video-makers, united by the same passion for nature, was to become one of the most widely appreciated and sought-after festivals not only in Belgium, but throughout Europe.

From last year, Namur Nature Film Festival is also a Professional film competition with great success. Filmmakers who com from all of the world are submit in our Festival. From two year, we organize the International CANON Competition about Nature Photography.

Aside from screening a great program of nature films, the festival also organizes workshop, lessons, debates enlivened by the best specialists including a symposium that explains the action of maintenance of nature in Belgium is organized by the Walloon Region. There are also two Gala evenings with the best animators television and radio of the country!
