When the first Namur Amateur Nature Video Film Festival was created in Belgium in early autumn 1995, no-one had any idea that years later, this gathering of amateur video-makers, united by the same passion for nature, was to become one of the most widely appreciated and sought-after festivals not only in Belgium, but throughout Europe.

Namur Nature Film Festival is also a Professional film competition with great success and the festival organizes the International CANON Competition about Nature Photography.
