The official competitions include:

- Europe, Mediterranean, devoted to full-length films of artists of the European, North African and Middle Eastern shores of the basin

- SchermoNapoli Cortometraggi and SchermoNapoli Documentari, dedicated to works of fiction and documentaries shot in Naples or directed by Neapolitan directors.
