NUEVA MIRADA (NEW APPROACH) is a non profit organization specialized in culture, cultural industries and communication with the main goal to contribute to the cultural and educative development of children and young people.
For the achievement of this main goal Nueva Mirada organization have a high qualificated group of professionals dedicated to make many actions as audiovisual production, distribution and diffusion, investigations, edition of books and multimedia, workshops, meetings and seminars all long of the year and the International Film Festival for Children and Youth once a year. The concepts who aimed these actions are to promote the cultural diversity and the respect of children's rights, and their participation as principal actors of their community cultural life.

The Animation Jury of the 7th International Film Festival “NUEVA MIRADA” for children and youth formed in the city of Buenos Aires, wishes to highlight the high quality of the presented works, especially in the category of shorts, of which it was a difficult decision.
Furthermore, of the awarded films, we would like to emphasize the shorts, “The owner”, by Ernesto Piña and Wilber Nogue of Cuba, a poetic contribution to a universal political theme and “Maria´s Life,” by Marcio Ramos of Brazil, an emotional and simple story that is presented with an excellent example of the life cycle of a woman farmer.and the full-length film, “Mug Travel,” by Aaron Lim of Korea for its quality and ability to communicate with children.
