Each year the city of Goiás transforms into a great stage to present  FICA - International Festival of Environmental Film and Video to examine the world's environmental questions and issues.

Since its beginning, the festival has endeaved to be a discussion place for environmental themes in a big concept, that deals  with the development of best quality of life quality for the planet. In this aspect, Fica not only offer a sustainable development discussions in the screen, but also promoting workshops, roundtables, seminars and many other activities, delving into subjects that examine the best relation between man and nature.

FICA Festival offers one of the biggest awards in Latin America: R$ 240 two hundred forty thousand in prizes.

Thus, FICA goes beyond the cinema. It has a multicultural parallel program that shows films which value the musical creation, theater, dance and literature.
