Festival Description:

This festival screens Feature, short and animation films and videos for children between the ages of 6-19. All films must be an Italian premier.

There are 5 competitive sections:

KIDZ features and short films ( fiction and animation) for children from 6 to 9 years of age;

FIRST SCREENS fiction feature films and short films ( fiction and animation) for children from 9 to 12 years of age;

FREE TO FLY feature films and short films ( fiction and animation) for young people from 12 to 14 years of age;

Y GEN feature films and short films ( fiction and animation) for young people from 15 to 19 years of age.

TROUBLED GAZE short films (fiction and animation) revolving around infanthood and adolescence directed toward adults.

The best feature film in each category will be awarded with the Golden Gryphon and a cash prize of 7000 euros. The best short film in each category will be awarded with the Silver Gryphon.

There are 3 non compétitive sections :

EUROPA FREEWAY short films (fiction and animation) signalled by other European festival directors.

ANIMATED NIGHTS animation short films;

RELOAD short films and feature films for young people released in Italy in past years.
