  • Festival Description:

    Gerardmer International Fantasy Film Festival is dedicated  to the Fantasy genre (science-fiction, horror, supernatural, etc.) and to promoting fantasy films (in France and in Europe), offering them a "quality label" that guarantees a growing impact on general audiences.
     
    The Gerardmer International Fantasy Film Festival consists of the following four sections:
    - two international competitive sections  (one for feature fiction films, one for
    feature animated films)
    - one international non-competitive section 
    - one competitive short film section, open to French-speaking countries only
     
    An international Jury composed of celebrities will award The Grand Prize (Fiction and Animated Films) and The Jury Prize.
