During the last nine years, Future Film Festival has emerged as the most important Italian event dedicated to animation and special effects. Every year, in Bologna, the most important art directors, film-directors and creative producers come to show their new movies, backstage of their successes and exclusive pictures from new productions. A preview of the future, but not only: Future Film Festival dedicates homages to the history of animated cinema, as well as meetings and events about new technologies application in other fields, such as web or videogames.
The sections will include:
Future Film Short: international competition for short films in animation and/or with special effects.
Business Breakfast: it is a real space for interaction and growth in the domain of production of moving images where companies, singles artists or schools can show their works during a morning speech and get in touch with other companies;
Futuro dei Toons: FFF section for tv series in animation and/or with special effects;
Lancia Platinum Grand Prize: novelty of FFF2008, the prize, in the occasione of 10 years of FFF, becomes an internazional competition for full-lenght films in animation and/or with special effects.
