Festival Description:

Every year in Nantes since 1979, the Festival of the 3 Continents shows 80 to 100 fiction and documentary films from Africa, Latin America and Asia.

Although this was a pioneering move then, such geographical specificity is not enough to define the F3C. Yet it is synonymous with curiosity – one of the main and sometimes distinguishing features of the festival. But there are also a taste for the unprecedented, for discovery, aesthetic rigour, a love of films whether popular or austere, and a will to support them.
