The European Spiritual Film Festival (ESFF) showcases films and screenplays that explore the mind, treating topics such as harmony between people, different cultures, art, ecology, philosophy, religion, science, humanitarian work, and more. ESFF encourages an emerging generation of filmmakers whose films present different aspects of spirituality and the human experience.

ESFF is a juried festival with half the jury composed of members respected in the cinema industry while the other half is composed of notable members from the world of spirituality . All screenplay entries will be reviewed by screenwriter members of the Union Guild of French Screenwriters who will select the winning entry. The jury of the European Spiritual Film Festival will offer an Award in each of the following categories:
