Festival Description:

Energy Film Festival Lausanne is a biennial event. Since its inception in 1986, at the initiative of the Swiss Scientific Film Association, 10 editions have been organised. It is the only international cinematographic festival that brings together all forms of energy (electricity, gas, biogas, petroleum, renewable energies, biomass, nuclear energy, hydraulic energy etc).

Objectives of the Energy Film Festival Lausanne:

- take up the mission of the festival by addressing all forms of energy

- act as a cultural link to facilitate the communication on energy issues to the public

- promote information, training and the image of energy through emotion and culture

- provide an interactive platform between the players involved
