Festival Description:

This festival screens documentary films from Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Approximately 25-30 films take part in the competition for the ARTE & 3sat documentary award, endowed with 6.000 Euro each. An award for 5.000 euro is given in the student category honoring emerging talent. Screenings are accompanied by panels, discussions and speeches on film theoretical and -practical subjects. All entries can be watched on seperate screens in the festival's film market.
