Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival (TIGLFF) was created as a fundraiser under the name Pride Film Festival, followed by Suncoast Film Festival. in the late 1990’s it became known as the Clip Tampa International Gay and Lesbian Film Festival. When Friends of the Festival, Inc. was formed as a non-profit organization it assumed TIGLFF as its DBA. In 2005 FOF began expanding content to include a year-round Film Series with Screenings now on both sides of the bay. And in 2007 Outreach programming was added, which allows FOF to screen free film content around the metro area to reach the more under-served groups within its community.

TIGLFF screens narrative, documentary, experimental and animated films in order to showcase a selection of compelling film and video, for or about the GLBT community that entertains, enlightens and celebrates the Festival audience.
