Cinéma Tous Ecran presents on big screen what has been produced for the small ones. It has opened a window on a field bustling with creativity which changes the boundaries between cinema and television, where the main points are the quality of the work and the singularity of the director. Cinéma Tous Ecrans is a festival looking for new films and new authors. Above all, it looks towards artistic quality of works made for television, cinema and new screens, the representation of the real through fiction and technological advances.
The Festival includes:
The Official International Competition- Presents between ten and fifteen films from around the world.
International Series, Collections & Long Dramas- This programme proposes a world tour exploring the new TV-series, collections and long dramas.
International Selection of Short Films- This selection allows to discover new styles, news authors and new films among the best ones of the year. The two Nights of the Short Film represent the most social event of the Festival and also an exceptional experience.
Regards d’aujourd’hui- A competition that presents the reconstruction of reality through fiction, powerful and present social topics.
New Screens – This section offers a new perspective on the multiplicity of screens and includes 4 different competitions:
- Multimedia interactive fiction
- Series for the web
- Auto-produced drama for the web
- Cinema tout Mobile (short films made for mobile phones)
- Short Film Contest
Swiss Competition- represents the latest Swiss TV production.
Major Film Director on Small Screen – Tribute to an important author who has worked for cinema as well as for television
International Professional Colloquium – Encounters between professionals around audiovisual news and creations.
Self-Portrait of a channel – Selection of an innovative TV-channel as honored guest.
Geneva Select Market – International Film & Television market, organized in collaboration with Swiss Films.
And also: Work in Progress, Program for kids and Movie Previews.
