Festival Description:

The Belo Horizonte International Short Film Festival is one of the main events dedicated to disseminating short-films in Brazil. Known for its programs, films with varied artistic aspirations, Belo Horizonte has always tried to regulate itself by the quality, rigor and innovative formats of the films presented, be they regional, thematic or ideological.

The last edition of the festival tried to tune in this trajectory in a more expressive way. Filmmakers, producers, film critics from all of Brazil and associates from some of the main festivals in the world (Bafici, Locarno, Oberhausen and Vila do Conde) were present to contribute to the enrichment of the festival's production format and to expand the meeting's horizons of reflection.

The Belo Horizonte International Short Film Festival is presented by the Fundação Clóvis Salgado (Clóvis Salgado Foundation).
