Festival Description:

Animac is a film exhibition directed to those artists who use animation as instrument of their personal expression. Going beyond the limits of traditional narrative, it looks for visionaries who make independent and risky works that empower and bring the expressive potential of film further.

Animac is a space for artists to meet, a laboratory in which ideas are formed and in which relations are established between different artistic disciplines. Animac is a place to dream and to project stories of the future. The festival is organized and produced by the Lleida Culture Council and the Catalan Institute of Cultural Industries (ICIC), a body of the Government of Catalonia, directed by Isabel Herguera and coordinated by Luvània S.L.
