  • Festival Description:

    25 FPS International Experimental Film and Video Festival is organized by the 25 FPS Association for Audio-visual Research in Zagreb, Croatia. 25 FPS promotes works that aim to use every conceptual, technological and production possibility of film and video, works that relate to the tradition of experimental and avant-garde film making in an innovative way, works that reveal new forms of the moving image. Each year the 25 FPS festival teams organizes sections focused around a filmmaker or videographer artist, sub-genre or cinematic approach to experimental filmmaking.  The 25 FPS festival rounds out its programming with competitions (Grand Prix, Special Mention, Audience Award and cash prizes), retrospectives and special sidebars.
