Festival Description:

Taking place annually in Rome, the 16mm Film Festival is the only event dedicated to black & white cinema on film that is no more than 15 minutes in length. The 16mm Film Festival accepts short film submissions, produced in any year, in themes that include artistic, musical, experimental, noir, horror, animation, drama, comedy, science-fiction.  Films will be judged with no reference to the period in which they were produced and will compete for the Italian Fujifilm award 2008.

DIGITAL AWARDS 2008- "Not only film"
This year the 16mm Film Festival will introduce a new competitive section for video filmmakers entitled "Digital Black and White." The best works from this new section, dedicated entirely to digital black & white, will be selected and shown during the two evenings of festival screenings held in the New Coliseum Theatre, Rome and with the final award "Digital Awards 2008."
