Taos Mountain Film Festival!
Yearly, we screen films documenting:
· Expeditions, travel, and adventure
· Mountain sports and mountaineering/ adrenaline rush showcase
· Nature and Wildlife
· Culture and Lifestyle
· Threats to indigenous cultures, human rights, and the environment
But we’re flexible. If it’s exciting, beautiful, poignant or important we want to see it! The deadline for entries is August 24th, 2007.
Taos Mountain Film Festival, a member of the International Alliance for Mountain Film,
continues its tradition of hosting the best films and personalities of the mountainfilm genre, films about mountain and adventure sports, alpine cultures and environmental themes.
Awards will be given for the following categories: Best Climbing/Mountaineering Film,
Best Mountain Culture Film, Best Environment Film, Best Human Rights Film, Best Adventure Sports Film, Best Short Film and of course, the Jury’s choice award, aka Best of Festival.
