GOLDEN EAGLE AWARDS RECOGNIZE EXCELLENCE
CINE is now accepting entries for the Spring 2008 CINE Golden Eagle Film and Video Competition. Professionals in the fields of film, video, television and new media as well as student and independent filmmakers are invited to submit their work in consideration for the prestigious CINE Golden Eagle Award.
In addition to our existing categories, CINE will now also recognize work produced specifically for the Internet and for mobile devices through our newly-created Professional New Media Division. At CINE, our mission is to reward excellence in the field of film, video and new media, and for the past fifty years we have constantly evolved to best serve our constituency. We consider this both a crucial next step in our pursuit of excellence in every facet of our industry and a marvelous way to usher in CINE's next half century.
The Golden Eagle competition also features our traditional range of categories for programs including news, children’s programming, history, environment, arts, science and technology, and PSAs and commercials, among others. Programs for schools and colleges, museums, parks, businesses, hospitals and non-profit organizations compete in the non-telecast division, and independent and student filmmakers may submit both fiction and documentary shorts and features.
For more information on the CINE Golden Eagle Competition, including entry forms, rules and regulations, category information, frequently asked questions and more, please visit our website at www.cine.org or contact us at 202.785.1136 or info@cine.org. All entries are due by February 15, with an early bird discount for entries received by February 1.
